DUTCHESS RAIL TRAIL
07-05-09 Sun.

a city of Poughkeepsie barrel in the TOWN of Poughkeepsie
That 50′ or so of dirt at the top of Love Rd., from the rt. 44- Stop&Shop - plaza is now paved. There now seems to be an official access to/from the shopping plaza. There is also new striping along Love Rd. for parking. As of this date though, there were still barrels and caution tape partialy blocking access.

DUTCHESS RAIL TRAIL
06-28-09 Sun.

I had the opportunity to ride the newly opened phase II section of the Dutchess Rail Trail this past Sunday. The section, that is now open is in a very small part of the City of Poughkeepsie, and mostly the town of Poughkeepsie. This newly completed section goes from the DRT northern terminus, Morgan Lake, to Overocker Road - 2.4 miles in length.
